More and more of our clients have begun to reward their staff for the extra effort they have put in. Because of the greater demands placed upon the work force family life has at times become fraught.

To help counter this our clients have begun staging "Family Days". Some have been very large, others more modest in nature, but all have the same aim - to provide a low cost, or even a free, day out for all the family and to raise money for charity.

Many have taken place within the companys' factory area and eventspecialists.co.uk have organised these days on behalf of several international clients. Sometimes we have shared the burden with the in house sports and social clubs, or work-force committees, but for other companies we have arranged the complete event.

One project we arranged in its' entirety was for a company with two thousand five hundred employees. Here we took over their trailer park for a weekend and provided a major funfair, side-shows, charity stalls, fast food areas, free chidlren's rides and activities, large model railway layouts, traction engines, vintage cars, hot air balloon rides, model car racing, archery and other sporting events, plus a wide range of cultural activites.

We also built an eight hundred seat entertainment theatre, separate children's theatre in a storage warehouse and provided three hours of top line entertainment. Outside there were also two arenas providing non-stop family entertainments for the whole day. All this was available to families free of charge.

It was our job to pull the whole event together, run it for the whole period and make sure everything was back to normal before the first workers came in on the Monday morning.

We have organised family days at historic venues, unusual locations and at major theme parks.
